London Climate Action Week

Members of the Earth Commission will participate in London Climate Action Week, contributing perspectives on systems thinking and pathways to a safe and just future.

On June 23, Earth Commission Executive Director Wendy Broadgate will take part in Bigger Than [Silo] Strategy: Practical Tools and Strategies to Bust Silos and Unlock Systems Approaches, hosted by the Global Commons Alliance and Sharing Strategies. The session will explore how climate, environmental, social, and health agendas can be addressed together through systems approaches that strengthen collective impact.

On June 24, Earth Commissioner Laura Pereira will join the panel A World Worth Choosing – Building a Holistic Vision for a Safe and Just Future. Bringing together leaders from across the sustainability community, the discussion will examine what a safe and just world could look like and why such a vision offers a compelling pathway toward prosperity, resilience, and belonging in the 21st century.

The Earth Commission is pleased to contribute to these discussions and help advance integrated approaches to addressing the interconnected challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss, and human well-being.

Founded in 2019, London Climate Action Week has grown into the largest city-wide climate festival in Europe and one of the world’s largest independent climate events. Through hundreds of independently organized events, participants share knowledge, develop practical solutions, and demonstrate the broad societal engagement needed to support decarbonization and resilience.
