Working Group 4. Transformations

Working Group 4 is a group of experts, mainly within the social sciences, focusing on integrating justice and equity issues into the work of the Earth Commission. They investigate socio-economic drivers of Earth system changes, as well as synergies and trade-offs between social and environmental goals for sustainability. The group also examines actors and policies leveraging transformative change, and how governance can be designed to achieve desired transformations.
