With the Amazon nearing a dangerous tipping point, Commissioners and partners stressed that following the science and strengthening governance are essential for a safe and just future.

The Global Commons Alliance is expanding, welcoming new organizations to help protect Earth’s life-support systems and drive equitable, science-based action for a safe and just planet. The Earth Commission will remain a key member to provide the Alliance’s scientific foundation.
