Transformations Working Group – Read our latest reports

The Earth Commission is a global team of scientists, with the mission to define a safe and just Earth system targets for people and planet.  The Commission has five working groups of experts in various fields. One of them is the Transformations Working Group, led by Prof. Joyeeta Gupta and Prof. Diana Liverman. The group is focusing on the justice aspects of Earth system targets, and also explores the agents and levers of transformations.

The Transformations Group organises regular workshops, often engaging invited scholars beyond the working group. Reports from past workshops can be accessed below.
